India's Pidilite Industries to enter CR field, joins IISRP
Houston, Texas -- Pidilite Industries Ltd., India's newest synthetic rubber producer, has joined the International Institute of Synthetic Rubber Producers.
The Mumbai, India-based company is nearing the startup of production at its polychloroprene facility, according to the IISRP. AD Ubhaykar, chief procurement and commercial officer, will become the director representative to the institute and also serve on the board of the IISRP's Far Eastern Section.
Pidilite has bought the former Distugil polychloroprene factory from Polimeri Europa, and is in the process of re-building it in India.
