Phoenix opens tyre recycling plant

Las vegas, Nevada -- Phoenix Recycling Technologies has completed construction of a $5.5 million waste tyre recycling facility in Las Vegas.
The company said the site-billed as the first full-service tyre recycling facility in Nevada-can process more than 2 million passenger and truck tries annually, recycling virtually all of the material. The rubber is used in a variety of applications such as the rubberized asphalt paving process, infill material for sport fields and moulded rubber goods production.
Phoenix Recycling is a wholly owned subsidiary of Phoenix Industries L.L.C., a US based, engineering and technologies company that manufactures waste tyre recycling plants and asphalt rubber blending equipment for worldwide distribution.
