Lawer's a new face at TTE with Supersincro
ERJ Staff Report (TP)
Cologne, Germany – Italian firm Lawer, who provide dispensing systems, are one of the new players at the Tire Technology Expo 2014 (TTE) and spoke with ERJ two days ago about their plans.
Federico Ormezzano, Managing Director, said: “Our company was founded in 1970 and started to manufacture textiles, we then produced dispensing systems for different kinds of industries – such as cosmetics and food.
”In the middle of last year we identified rubber and plastic as a field that can be interesting for us.
At the TTE the firm had their Supersincro on display, which is a “fully robotised weighing system for ingredients, granting consistent quality on the masterbatches and compound preparation and strict control of rubber and plastic production.”
Ormezzano explained more about the Supersincro: “Part of our machine can be applied specially for the rubber industry − for dosing or mould quantities.
“This is quite a new machine … the dosing head, screw and other parts are brand new – the movement of the tray is brand new.”
He said this is a “new year” for the company in the field of rubber. At the end of January they provided a complete machine and system for an Italian company which produces rubber components.
Based on the positive feedback from that company, Lawer wants to produce others versions of the machine and therefore they are looking at the market for new customers and future growth.
