Goodyear launches Winter tyre campaign in N America

Akron, Ohio -- Goodyear has launched a range of Winter tyres aimed at the North American market, together with advice on Winter driving, ahead of the holiday weekend.

Goodyear said its Ultra Grip Ice WRT i, "the company's first dedicated winter tyre for SUV and light-truck vehicle segments. Goodyear has long offered winter tyre options for passenger cars, mini vans and even high-performance automobiles."

The company also refers to the Farmers' Almanac, which apparently predicts a colder-than-average winter in the US

Goodyear also reminds drivers that cold weather means lower inflationpressures and reminds them to keep their tyres topped up with air.
