White Cross rubber compounds get potable water agreement
ERJ staff report (PRW)
Lancaster-based White Cross Rubber Products has won approvals for its new EPDM and Butyl sheeting formulations issued under the Water Regulations Advisory Scheme (WRAS).
These materials, part of the company's Butylite product ranges, mean White Cross is “one of only a few manufacturers globally who are able to offer customers a choice in WRAS-approved rubber sheetingâ€, it claims.
The new Butylite sheeting products have been designed for use in a range of tanking, lining, sealing and gasket applications where there is a potable water requirement.
Philip Harper, who heads business development at White Cross, said: “Potable water is an important product sector; the approvals are another string in our bow enhancing the range of what we can offer to customers and further consolidating White Cross Rubber Products position as the UK's technical rubber sheet-form product manufacturer.â€
The WRAS approved products are available as either straight rubber sheeting or insertion/supported rubber sheeting of varying constructions and substrates.
