Tokyo -- Tokai Rubber Industries is to set up a 60-40 majority-controlled joint venture factory in Tianjin, China to make anti-vibration components for the automotive industry.
The new company is to be called Yu Toukai??ring (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. (abbreviated to HTR)and will be established in January 2011. The company expects the unit to be on streamin June 2011 and to achieve sales of Yuan 370 million (euro 42 million) by 2015.
Tokai said the site covers 21 000 sq. ft, but the covered area is 9400 sq. ft.
