NR hitting new highs: TOCOM touching $5.20

London -- Prices of natural rubber around the world show little sign of reversing their continued rise, despite a brief lull in the last days of 2010.
In Tokyo, Tocom's benchmark six-month price touched Yen 427 ($5.19 per kilo) during day trading on 4 January.
In Singapore RSS3 was trading around $5.12/kg on Tuesday, while TSR20 was closer to $5.00/kg
Indian prices on the NMCE (National Multi-Commodity Exchange) broke through Rs 230 ($5.12)/kg for the first time.
Shanghai prices, usually the world's highest, reached Yuan 37.5 ($5.67) per kilo.
