London -- Prices of natural rubber around the world are still on the rise, with further advances predicted on poor weather in South-East Asia
In Tokyo, Tocom's benchmark six-month price continued to rise, to a high of Yen 456.8 ($5.54 per kilo) during afternoon trading on 14 January.
In Singapore short-dated RSS3 saw highs around $5.50/kg on Friday, up by about 8 cents from yesterday, while short-dated TSR20 reached $5.37/kg before closing around $5.27
Indian prices on the NMCE (National Multi-Commodity Exchange) just touched a high of Rs 240.5 ($5.31)/kg for April delivery.
Shanghai prices, usually the world's highest, reached Yuan 38.57 ($5.85) per kilo.
