Infinity Tyres tests new ranges at Spain's IDIADA
ERJ staff report (LMH)
London -- Infinity Tyres has been testing its new tyre ranges at Spain's IDIADA proving ground with “great results.†IDIADA, located in the province of Tarragona, offers independent testing facilities, including state-of-the-art test tracks and fully equipped laboratories, Infinity said.
The Total Performance Testing team performed a series of tests on Infinity's new prototype tyres versus two major European OEM tyre brands as well as a less recognised Asian replacement tyre brand.
Infinity's prototypes were tested for all tyre performance characteristics including 'soft handling', 'severe subjective handling', 'wet handling' (both subjective and timed), 'dry handling', 'noise' and 'comfort'.
“We have been testing our new ranges at IDIADA to ensure we have the best and most professional results, and that these results are fully compliant with all European market requirements and legislation,†said Jorge Crespo, European General Manager for Infinity Tyres.
He added, “I am happy to say that Infinity's prototypes performed amazingly well and we are looking forward to advancing our range development using the data gathered at this recognised international testing facility.â€
