Bridgestone, Pirelli sign on as ITEC sponsors

Akron, Ohio -- Bridgestone Americas has renewed its corporate sponsorship and Pirelli Tire North America will be a supporting sponsor of the International Tire Exhibition & Conference (ITEC), which will be held 18-20 Sept at Cleveland's International Exposition Center (I-X Center).

Both tyre companies will have substantial exhibit space, with Bridgestone taking 2000 sq.ft and Pirelli 1000 sq.ft.

“Bridgestone Americas is very excited about the upcoming ITEC conference,” said Hank Hara, the Nashville, Tennessee-based tyre maker's chief technology officer.

“With the conference expanding its mission to focus both on the manufacturing side as well as a product showcase for the aftermarket business, ITEC has become an important gathering for engineers, tyre dealers and business leaders to discuss industry trends, see new products and learn about new technologies,” he added.

ITEC is North America's largest tyre-focused trade show and conference-with more than 100 dealer and manufacturer educational, seminars and technical presentations.
