Tokyo NR prices plunge below $3

London - Rubber prices resumed their decline on Friday, and Tokyo prices fell around 3 percent to trade below the $3 mark. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract were trading down 8 yen at yen 234 ($2.95) on Friday 08 June. Shorter-dated prices were less affected, trading down 4 at yen 245 on Friday evening.
In Singapore, the TSR20 contract on SGX was trading down by 11 cents, or 4 percent at $2.77 for December deliveries in late trading on Friday; July prices were hit even harder to fall by 12 cents and were trading at 2.73.
In India, NMCE said June prices were down by 2 rupees at Rs 189 ($3.40). July prices also fell by 3 rupees, to close at Rs 190
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for June closed down 0.2 at Yuan 23.0 ($3.61) per kilo on Friday. July prices were unchanged at yuan 23.1
