GMG Global reports 31% higher volumes in H1

Singapore - Rubber grower GMG Global Limited said it shipped almost 25 percent more rubber in the three months to June 2012. The increase in the first six months was 31 percent.
Tonnage grew 24.6 percent from 47,409mt for 2Q11 to 59,065mt for 2Q12 on
increased contributions from Teck Bee Hang, first time inclusion from ITCA (Ivory
Coast) and marketing of Siat's rubber products
Yar-on-year revenue dipped 5.1 percent from S$288.4 million in 2Q11 to S$273.8 million in
2Q12 on lower average selling prices, in line with weaker prevailing natural
rubber prices during the quarter
