NR prices mixed overnight

London - Rubber prices around the world were mixed overnight. On Tokyo's Tocom Exchange, prices for the six-month contract closed at yen 229 ($2.93) on Wednesday 01 August. Shorter-dated prices closed marginally higher at yen 215.6 on Wednesday afternoon.
In Singapore, the February TSR20 contract on SGX closed up 5 at $2.84; September prices were also higher, closing at $2.81 in evening trading on Wednesday.
In India, NMCE said August prices closed down 1 at Rs 178 ($3.20). September prices also closed down at just under Rs 176.
In China the Shanghai Futures Exchange contract for August closed unchanged at Yuan 22.7 ($3.56) per kilo on Wednesday. September prices were also unchanged at yuan 22.7.
