Two RIEG afternoon technical discussions to be held in March and June
London – UK-based Rubber in Engineering Group (RIEF) is holding two webinars to discuss the use of elastomers in sustainable energy generation and infrastructure.
Championed by Dr Julien Ramier and Alan Bickly, the afternoon technical discussion on use of elastomers in sustainable energy generation will be held 19 March at 13:30 UK time.
The free webinar, sponsored by ARTIS, will examine the use of advanced elastomer materials in energy generation, as demand continues to rise for low carbon emitting technologies.
The event will study the new technical challenges that elastomer materials must overcome to meet emissions targets as well as new specifications of elastomer materials, RIEG announced.

RIEG’s next webinar will be on elastomers in infrastructure, to be held 18 June.
The event will focus on the use of elastomers in the public and private infrastructure surrounding society and will aim to capture new materials, processes and applications utilising elastomers in this field.
