Kiyosu, Japan – Japanese automotive supplier Toyoda Gosei Co. Ltd is planning to change its executive officer structure in a bid to make the company more agile.
To take effect after a general shareholders’ meeting in June, the move will see the number of executives and audit & supervisory board members reduced from 30 to 21.
Corporate officer hierarchy will be reduced and people in ‘managing officer’ and higher positions will be the new corporate officers, said a 26 April company statement.
These executives will form the senior management of the company for faster decision-making and stronger supervisory functions, it explained.
