Bengaluru, India – Indian tire maker MRF is completing validation trials on aircraft tires to be supplied to the Indian air force, according to a Hindustan Times report.
The Chennai-based company, it said, aims to finish trials on tires developed for a locally-manufactured Tejas light-combat aircraft by the year-end.
The tires will then need to be approved by the Indian centre for military airworthiness and certification, the report pointed out.
