Brazilian natural rubber association joins IRSG
Sao Paulo, Brazil – Sao Paulo’s Association of Natural Rubber Producers and Processing Plants (Apabor) has joined the International Rubber Study Group (IRSG).
Founded in 1992, Apabor is a non-profit civil society operating throughout Sao Paulo, IRSG said in a 19 Feb statement.
The association’s activities include improving relationships between producers and processing plants and collaboration with the government.
Apabor also develops programmes for sustainable expansion of rubber plantations.
The association currently has 1,100 members, and covers 80% “all Brazilian processing plants”, IRSG added.
