Bengbu, Anhui – China’s Aisidun Tire is planning to build a new project with 20 million units of annual capacity for high-performance radial tires in Bengbu.
The project’s first round of open-to-public environmental impact review started on 28 January, said an announcement on the local government’s website.
The company plans to rent a vacant plant with 22,000 square metre total area at the Auto Parts and Bicycle Industrial Park in the city’s Huaiyuan County Economic Development Zone.
The project has €157 million (1.2 billion yuan) total investment, including €144 million earmarked for fixed assets, said the announcement.
Aisidun Tire is looking to purchase machinery including six mixers, four multi-extruders and six building machines.
The project is slated to start by the end of 2019, according to the announcement.
Aisidun tire was set up in October 2018 with €13m registered capital.
Its business scope also covers the manufacturing of rubber products, auto parts and motorcycle parts as well as import and export.
ERJ is trying to contact the company, requesting further details about its new tire-plant project.
