VMI launches service centre in Thailand
Epe, The Netherlands – Tire and rubber machinery maker VMI has announced the official opening of a new service facility in Chon Buri province, Thailand.
VMI’s ninth service center was inaugurated 22 Jan by Riaan Diener, VP of VMI Global Services, and Aart van der Pol, regional manager customer service Asia.
The Thailand facility “underlines VMI’s commitment to building an organisation of global supply, supported by a local service network,” the Dutch company stated.
With Thai- and Chinese-speaking engineers to support local customers, the unit also houses specialised tooling required for servicing VMI mechanical drums.
The facility, added Diener, offers “training packages, service programmes, drum-overhauls as well as retrofits and upgrades.”
