HF TireTech issues patent-infringement warning
Hamburg, Germany – HF TireTech Group has highlighted its determination to tackle a “severe situation” concerning infringements of its intellectual property (IP).
Not only are HF technologies, procedures and devices being copied, “but those copies are even being registered for patent approval.” said a 30 Jan group statement.
HF always applies for a patent or registered design for all new tire-manufacturing developments, the Hamburg-based group added .
Citing, for example, the field of tire-building drums, HF said IP protection covers all relevant industrial countries where tires are made, or tire-making machines and facilities produced.
The group went on to warn that it “is determined to fight against these infringements with all available resources provided by patent law.
“Especially in the case of infringement of intellectual property rights of existing patents, HF will take legal actions for injunctive [relief] as well as compensation without any exception.”
