Luxembourg – Chinese tire cord supplier Jiangsu Xingda Steel Tyre Cord Co. has opened a European sales office in Luxembourg, the company has announced.
Xingda Europe, which was officially opened 18 Dec, will provide technical services to the rubber and tire industry in Europe.
The company said it aims to strengthen relationships with European stakeholders, organisations, and governments, as part of an “internationalisation” policy.
“The establishment of Xingda Europe will certainly enhance [our] presence in the whole European market,” said Xingda general manager Liu Xiang.
Based in Zinghua City, Jiangsu Province, Xingda Steel Tyre Cord supplies rubber steel cord, bead wire, hose wire and special steel to the tire & rubber industries.
With three production bases in Jiangsu, Shandong and Thailand, and offices in the US, Europe and Thailand, Xingda currently supplies to more than 200 tire customers in 30 countries.
The company also has technical service centres in North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and is planning to set up an Indian office.
