People: BRV appoints new managing director

Bonn, Germany – Hans-Jürgen Drechsler, the long-time managing director of the German tire trade association BRV is retiring in 2020, to be succeeded by Michael Schwaemmlein, the BRV announced 29 Nov.

Schwaemmlein will take up his duties within the association as of September next year, the BRV added.

Schwaemmlein is currently working as technical advisor at the European Retreading Association BIPAVER.
