Brussels – Bekaert’s executive vice president and chief financial officer (CFO) Beatríz García-Cos Muntañola has left the company, Bekaert has announced.
Frank Vromant, executive vice-president Bekaert Americas, has been appointed as the interim CFO, added a 15 Nov statement from the Belgian steel wire and tire cord maker.
Vromant has been with Bekaert since 1979 and has held several financial and IT management positions. He joined the group's executives in 2013.
Muntañola joined Bekaert as CFO in July 2016 and was an executive member of the Bekaert Group and a member of the board of directors of Bridon-Bekaert Ropes Group.
