Sumitomo to become corporate member of ETRMA

Brussels – Sumitomo Rubber Group is to become a new ‘tyre corporate member’ of the European Tyre & Rubber Manufacturers' Association.

Sumitomo’s membership, through its European affiliate Falken Tyre Europe was announced at an ETRMA board of directors meeting on 17 Oct.

Membership of Falken Tyre Europe will become effective as of January 2019, said an ETRMA statement.

Sumitomo, it noted, inaugurated a tire plant in Turkey at the end of 2015.
