Pirelli tops Dow Jones automotive sustainability index
Milan, Italy – Pirelli has been rated world leader in sustainability in the automotive components section on the Dow Jones World and Europe indices.
The rating, which takes effect 24 Sept, was decided in an annual review conducted by RobecoSam and S&P Dow Jones, explained the tire maker.
Pirelli recorded a total score of 81 points compared with the sector average of 32, according to a 14 Sept press statement.
The Dow Jones sustainability indices analyses over 2,000 companies from 60 industrial sectors in terms of economic, environmental and social factors.
