People: FineLine names Sundaram chief operating officer
Norcross, Georgia – FineLine Technologies has appointed Kyle Sundaram chief operating officer, the US-based supplier of retail ticketing, RFID and barcode labelling announced 31 July.
Sundaram, who will report directly to CEO & chairman George Hoffman, will oversee global operations for all industry solutions, including retail, tires, event and entertainment.
“Kyle is a proven manufacturing, supply chain, process and quality senior executive,” said Hoffman.
“He will be a key pillar in our leadership team as we build a fully integrated strategy across all lines of business and advance FineLine to our next stage of operational maturity and sustained growth."
Sundaram has over 20 years of cross-industry experience leading global teams in the standardization of manufacturing processes and procedures in the US, Mexico, China, India, South Africa and Europe.
Most recently, he was VP, growth operations & global operations at Amcor. Past roles include senior VP of global operations at private equity backed industrial films producer Transcendia, where he had a key role in streamlining operations of four acquired global businesses.
Sundaram holds a ‘six sigma black belt’ and has a BSc degree in chemical engineering from University of Madras, an MSc in chemical engineering from Tennessee Technical University and an MBA from Kennesaw State University.
FineLine Technologies is a key player in the development of RFID technologies for the global tire industry, following its acquisition of Dutch-based FERM RFID in January.
