Cologne, Germany - China is very active in developing smart industrial solutions and smart factories, according to Karol Vanko, Mesnac vice president and general director, Mesnac European Research and Technical Centre.
Mesnac, he said, is leading in standardisation procedures in China through its involvement in the China Tyre Intelligent Manufacturing & Standardization Alliance (CTIMSA).
Established in 2017, CTIMSA has more than 30 member companies and aims to unify standards around machine-communication, MES, logistics, HMI standards and machine-condition monitoring.
The alliance includes around 20 major tire producers, with Prinx Chengshan, Sailun Jinyu, Triangle, Linglong, Doublestar, Wanli, Sentury, Aeolus and Giti among the high-profile members.
The alliance, said Vanko, is open and any international tire manufacturer or tire supplier to join.
