Cimcorp appoints new tire sales manager in China

Ulvila, Finland – Cimcorp Oy, manufacturer and integrator of turnkey robotic handling solutions, has named sales manager Veli-Matti Hakala responsible for business development in China’s tire sector.

The appointment follows Hakala’s success in tire sales projects in India and will target the growing Chinese market.

Hakala previously worked in a support role for Cimcorp’s senior sales manager, Esa Valtonen, during which he was able to become familiar with China’s tire producers, said Cimcorp 5 June.

“It was clear to me that Industry 4.0 is the standard that most Chinese tire manufacturers are either following or seriously aiming towards,” said Hakala upon accepting the role.

In China, Cimcorp expects to advance its Dream Factory solution, which it says will “enables 10% higher throughput in half the footprint and at half the investment cost.”
