Zeon raises TPE prices
Tokyo – Zeon Corp. is increasing the prices for thermoplastic elastomer and hydrocarbon resins globally, the company has announced.
In a 1 June statement, the Japanese supplier said prices for thermoplastic elastomer SIS – sold under the brand Quintac – will increase by $110 per tonne, effective 1 July.
Additionally, the price for hydrocarbon resin materials with brand name Quintone, will also be raised by $110 per tonne as of July.
The company statement did not provide a reason for the price hike.
Zeon had already raised prices for SIS -type elastomers by $220 per tonne in February this year.
