Maastricht, The Netherlands – Arlanxeo, the rubber JV between Lanxess and Saudi Aramco, is raising prices for EPDM rubber grades, the company announced 11 June.
In the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, effective as of 18 June, prices will be increased by €125/tonne.
In Latin America, again effective as of 18 June, prices will go up by $150 per tonne.
The synthetic rubber manufacturer had announced a similar price hike in January this year.
Arlanxeo distributes EPDM under the brand name Keltan.
EPDM products are used in applications areas including automotive, construction, plastics modification, consumer goods, cable & wire and tubing.
