Toyoda Gosei business plan focussing on ‘new mobility’

Kiyosu, Japan – Toyoda Gosei Co., Ltd. has announced a new medium-term management plan, dubbed the 2025 business plan, with which it aims to tackle the challenges of the rapidly changing business environment.
Financial objectives of the company for the year 2025 has been set at Yen1 trillion (€7.7 billion) of sales, with operating profit margin of 8%.
To achieve the objectives, the company said it was working to develop new products that respond to the growth of autonomous driving and automotive electrification.
In addition, the company will commercialise new technologies and expand businesses of the airbag and other products.
Three main areas of focus will be innovation in new mobility fields, working on growing markets and carrying out “innovative manufacturing” at production sites.
