Enviro secures order from international tire company

Gothenburg, Sweden – Scandinavian Enviro Systems AB has announced an order for its recovered carbon black (rCB) from an unnamed tire company,

The delivered EnviroCB product will be used for solid tires manufactured in Sri Lanka,  according to a statement from the rCB supplier.

The Swedish company valued the deal, with the unidentified client, at SEK100,000 (€9,700).

The tire company, it said, placed its first order for the EnviroCB product at the beginning of the year after materials tests.

“The customer is a global manufacturer of tires and rubber applications,” said Thomas Sörensson, CEO Enviro.

"Compared to the previous order, the volume is now significantly greater," added Sörensson.

According to the Enviro CEO, the customer is “one of several major solid tire manufacturers” to have expressed interest in the material.

“Receiving a follow-up order of a much larger volume demonstrates both the quality of material and the market’s growing need for reclaimed carbon black,” he concluded.
