Kraiburg TPE increases production capacity in Germany
The line, it said, expands the company’s total capacity to 56,000 tonnes worldwide and highlights Kraiburg TPE’s commitment to manufacturing in Germany.
The expansion is in-line with growth in global demand for TPEs, particularly in the automotive, industry, consumer and medical markets, the company explained.
“The Waldkraiburg site is and will remain the focus of all of our activities, where we have been investing particularly in expanding our development centre and increasing our production capacities in recent years,” said Franz Hinterecker, CEO of Kraiburg TPE.
As well as Waldkraiburg, Kraiburg has also been investing in its TPE compounds facilities in the US and Malaysia.
The company relocated to a new production plant in Buford, near Atlanta, Georgia in 2016. it also operates a facility in Kuala Lumpur, where a new line has recently been put into operation.
“Our success in the market is based on strong customer orientation, global presence and influential innovations. Continuously investing in the international network of our production plants and sales offices is a mainstay of this strategy,” said Hinterecker.
