3M launches polychloroprene-free fast-tack adhesive

St Paul, Minneapolis –3M’s 1000NF fast-tack adhesive is offered as an alternative to solvent-based adhesives for bonding most foams, plastics, plastic laminates, wood, plywood and canvas to themselves and each other, with applications in a broad range of industries.
The company says: “While many adhesive users have been underwhelmed with water-based products in the past, … 1000NF is poised to change perceptions about what water based adhesives can do. The product offers strength and speed comparable to solvent based adhesives, with additional benefits including zero volatile organic compounds (VOCs).”
