Rovereto, Italy – German retreader Reifen Müller GmbH has installed the new and optimised Ringbuilder 3003 at one of its plant, Marangoni announced on 22 July.
Ringbuilder 3003, said Marangoni, is a completely automatic combination of extruder and applicator, and features a mobile touchscreen as human-machine interface.
The operator loads and removes the casing, and places the rings on the divaricator fingers manually, said Marangoni.
“The machine automatically recognises the casing so as to position the cushion gum and wingformer. The laser centring device ensures precise alignment and correct positioning of the ring on the casing (with the possibility of fine manual adjustment),” said the Italian retreader.
Using Ringtread technology, the Reifen Müller plant can turn out 200 tires every eight hour shift.
Reifen Müller, already a long-time Marangoni partner, was the first retreading company in Europe to use Ringbuilder technology.
"The advantages of the tires made in our plant … [are] uniform processing and excellent values in terms of concentricity and balance…,” according to Uwe Müller, owner and managing director of the German company.
