Magog, Quebec — Camso Ltd. is planning to raise aftermarket prices globally in the coming months on its range of solid and pneumatic tires, tracks and track systems by between 1% and 6%.
Camso cited rising raw materials, logistics and other operating costs as the reasons for the increases. The timing of the increases will be based on market dynamics in North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, Camso said.
"We've done our best to avoid a price increase with our aftermarket customers, but are now required to take action on this at the present time," Derek Bradeen, executive director, brand, communications and global marketing, said.
Camso also noted that it has introduced technology innovations recently in products across its construction, materials-handling and agriculture business lines that offer enhanced performance and life.
Camso goes to market with the Camso and Solideal brand names and promotes itself as the "Road Free" company to stress its concentration on off-the-road product categories.
