Cabot appoints chief technology officer
Boston, Massachusetts – Cabot Corp has appointed Patricia Hubbard as senior vice president and chief technology officer (CTO), the company announced 5 Feb.
Hubbard joins Cabot’s management executive committee, reporting directly to Cabot CEO Sean Keohane.
Most recently she was vice president of R&D for Avery Dennison’s ‘label and graphic materials’ division in North America.
Her career in technology also included vice president of corporate R&D as well as technology director for the specialty engineered materials business at PolyOne Corp. In addition, she held various technology roles at General Electric.
In this role as the Cabot CTO, Hubbard will assume responsibility for the company’s global technology and research and development (R&D) function.
Hubbard is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and holds a PhD in polymer science from the University of Akron.
