Milan, Italy – Italian tire-maker Pirelli & C SpA registered a “record month” with 110 homologations for its tires in the month of August.

According to the Milan-based tire-maker the new tires ranges included Scorpion Winter and Sottozero for winter conditions; P Zero and its racing counterpart P Zero Corsa and products from the Cinturato family, including the P7 All Season for cars of medium engine capacity.

Among the new car models fitted with Pirelli tires are the new Bentley Continental GT, for which the tire maker said it will soon introduce 22-inch tires in addition to the current 20-inch and 21-inch versions.

The Audi RS5 Coupe has also selected Pirelli as original equipment, along with its RS4 Avant sibling.

The new Porsche Cayenne will also be equipped with Scorpion winter tires for the winter season.

All models by Lamborghini and McLaren will also use Pirelli as OE fitment, the tire-maker said.

Pirelli was chosen for Jaguar when for its new electric racing version of the I-Pace, the Jaguar e-Trophy, along with the road going version.
