Beachwood, Ohio – Omnova Solutions Inc. will increase the price of nitrile elastomers, styrene-acrylic polymers, styrene-butadiene latex products and acrylic polymers beginning February or as contracts allow.

The new costs, which represent a 5% increase for nitrile elastomers and 10% for the others, are necessary as the cost of manufacturing has risen, Omnova said. The increases affect both domestic and overseas clients.

Omnova is a global supplier of emulsion polymers, specialty chemicals and surfaces products serving the commercial, industrial and residential markets. The company reported sales $773 million (€729 million) for the fiscal year ending 31 Aug.
