Akron, Ohio —At least 44 papers will be presented during the 2016 International Tire Exhibition & Conference.
The event’s three co-chairmen, Harold Herzlich, technical editor for Rubber & Plastics News, Walter Waddell, recently retired from ExxonMobil, and Larry Evans, recently retired from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, are nearing completion of the conference agenda.
The topics at the conference include a look at innovations in materials, rolling resistance and tire regulations; the future of tire production plants; a global tire survey; and a look at new techniques to handling an industry hazard, tire fires.
