Nokian adds strategy development exec
Nokia, Finland – Nokian Tyres has appointed mergers & acquisitions (M&A) specialist, Timo Tervolin, as vice-president, strategy and corporate development, the company has announced.
This is a new position intended to enhance the Finnish tire-maker’s in-house, strategic development capabilities, communications director Antti-Jussi Tähtinen told ERJ.
In the new role, Tervolin will lead Nokian’s strategy programmes and M&A activity, while monitoring markets and competition.
Prior to joining Nokian on 6 June, Tervolin headed the M&A team at Ingram Micro, a technology distributor based in Irvine, California.
Tervolin will report to the Nokian president and CEO Ari Lehtoranta.
