Lyon, France – Bluestar Silicones has launched a new strategic plan for the coming years to strengthen its worldwide speciality businesses and market positions, the company announced 22 Feb.
“Bluestar Silicones has signed several key partnership agreements, created a new business channel and reasserted its new identity and values,” said the French silicone and new materials manufacturer.
In September 2015, to strengthen strategy and market network, Bluestar Silicones signed a distribution agreement with Grasim Industries Ltd, a “flagship company” of the Aditya Birla Group in India.
“This was also the reason we signed a strategic deal last year with Brenntag in Europe and we have signed other distribution deals in Asia and Latin America,” he added.
Jacquin added that the company’s latest move was to sign a partnership agreement with Basoglu, to create a mix & fix offer in Turkey and neighbouring countries.
Bluestar Silicones has also launched a new website, the objective of which, it said, was to give easy access to users to find information on products and the right contact info.
Also, the company will try to rebrand, introducing a new logo with the company name. The brand will bear the company slogan “delivering your potential”.
“A stronger company brand is a must if we want to succeed in our specialist strategy and explain the true value of our offer,” said Jacquin.
Jacquin said a combination of capabilities across the group and its shareholders, would offer a “unique recipe [that] will surely enable us to play a leading role in our industry worldwide.” says Frederic Jacquin, CEO.
According to Jacquin, Bluestar Silicones will aim to be more agile, flexible and fast-moving as part of the strategic changes.
