Moscow – Sibur’s board of director elected new members to the management board in a meeting on 5 Feb, the company has announced.
According to the statement, Dmitry Konov will remain as the chief executive officer (CEO), while CFO Pavel Malyi, who has left the company, is now replaced by Alexander Petrov – who is taking the role of managing director for economics and finance.
Also joining the board is Sergey Lukichev who will be the MD for economic security. Alexey Kozlov MD for business administration and Vladimir Razumov, executive director, also remained on the board.
Sibur’s rubber unit has also undergone a management change since summer 2015, as its head Mikhail Gordin was also promoted to advisor to CEO, while maintaining a watch over the rubber business.
“He is responsible for the overall strategy of the SR business,” a Sibur spokeswoman told ERJ, adding that acting head of SR business has been Pavel Lyakhovitch – the head of plastics and organic synthesis business since last summer.
