Poing, Germany – REMA Tip Top has recently acquired Flexpro AS, a Norway-based company specialising in the maintenance and optimisation of conveyor systems and plant component trading. Terms of the deal are no being disclosed.
Flexpro is a provider of rubber- and conveyor belt-related products and services for the Norwegian market. It serves the sand and gravel, cement and asphalt, wood, recycling and harbour sectors.
From its foundation in 2012, Flexpro has been an authorised dealer and Norwegian partner for REMA Tip Top products. It has offices in Osla, Ålesund, Trondheim and Bergen.
"Our current share of the Norwegian market for rubber and conveyor belt products and services is a result of continuous growth since our foundation" said Øyving Gustavsen, CEO of Flexpro. "Being part of REMA Tip Top will allow us to considerably improve that position."
"Our products have proven themselves on numerous sites in the raw Scandinavian climate. The acquisition of Flexpro means that we have a suitable partner and the right team at the right locations to even better support our customers in this market" said Patric Scheungraber, a member of the REMA Tip Top board.
"When acquiring the company, it was important to us to retain both Mr. Gustavsen as CEO and his management team," added Scheungraber.
