London - BFGoodrich Tyres, a Michelin North America brand, is launching its “most advanced” off-road tire with the new All-Terrain T/A KO2, the company announced on 6 July.
Engineered from BFGoodrich’s off-road motorsports racing technology, the KO2 is claimed to deliver “toughness, durability and traction for traversing harsh terrain, including gravel, dirt, rock, mud and snow.”
The tire is the first commercially available tire to incorporate the company’s CoreGard technology which is said to enhance resistance to sidewall splitting.
The KO2 is 20-percent stronger than the original KO tire, stated BFGoodrich, adding that the tire lasts twice as long on gravel roads and 15 percent longer on asphalt.
