Shanghai, China – Dow Corning has “recently” appointed Jeroen Bloemhard as its new greater China president, the company announced in a 20 Jan press release.
With over 20 years of experience in the silicones industry, Bloemhard is to lead the corporate management of the greater China team as the company aims to “build its leadership position in the market.”
“In his new role, Bloemhard is the lead executive for corporate governance, compliance and risk management, building on the progress made in Dow Corning’s 40 years of operations in greater China,” said the release.
Bloemhard, who previously served as global vice president of sales for the company's Xiameter brand, began his career at Dow Corning in Belgium in 1993 in a marketing role. In 2003, he relocated to Shanghai to build Dow Corning’s market position in the electronics industry in greater China.
