London – Toyota UK has confirmed that Toyota is recalling 362,000 cars globally for three separate faults.
A spokesman for the company said 170,000 Camry sedans were subject to recall for a faulty ball joint that could lead to the loss of control of the vehicle.
Toyota said that 120,000 of the cars will be recalled from Europe, mostly Russia and Belarus. He said no UK vehicle is expected to be affected by the recall. Nearly 40,000 of the recalls will be in Japan.
Also, 105,800 Hiace, Regius Ace and Dyna models, are to be recalled for replacement of their fuel pipe. The third recall is for 86,000 Crown and Crown Majesta models to replace outer seatbelts. Both recalls are mainly in Japan.
