Bangkok –The Chinese private sector is considering investment in rubber industry in Thailand, said a 9 Nov report by the Royal Thai Government – the official website of the Thai government.
Thai Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha met with senior executives of state and private enterprises, including POWERCHINA, ZTE Corporation, and a group of Shandong businessmen, according to the website.
The report went on to say that the group of businessmen from Shandong expressed their interest in rubber processing.
“Fifty delegates from private companies will visit Thailand to explore feasibility in establishing rubber processing facilities. They actually target three countries – Myanmar, Indonesia, and Thailand. Thailand provides the highest investment efficiency,” it said.
