Dätwyler acquires Columbia Engineered Rubber

Altdorf, Switzerland – Dätwyler Holding Inc., on 28 Oct, completed the acquisition of Keystone Holdings, Inc., the parent company of Columbia Engineered Rubber Inc., based in Dayton, Ohio.

The acquisition is intended to enhance Datwyler’s sealing solutions division sales, distribution and engineering organisation for US automotive and industrial markets.

As announced on 20 Oct, the deal will also enable the Swiss group to offer US customers local engineering and prototyping services for rubber components.

The acquired company employs approximately 70 people, generates annual revenue of almost CHF25 million.
