Inaugural UK tire awards finalists revealed

    Aylesbury, UK – The NTDA (National Tyre Distributors Association) announced on 30 June the finalists for its first Tyre Industry Awards.

    NTDA Director Stefan Hay said: “2014 has seen a fierce contest for the finalist shortlists [and] in some cases nominees were so neck-and-neck we have had to increase the shortlists to six finalists”.

    The list of finalists:

    The Tyre Retail Centre of the Year Award, sponsored by Pirelli Tyres Ltd, is not open to vote and is decided by an independent market research company that will conduct a series of ‘mystery shopping’ exercises.

    People can only vote on the NTDA website. Voting will go live this week and votes must be entered by 19 September.

    The winners will be announced at a ceremony hosted by the Rt. Hon. Michael Portillo and sponsored by Continental Tyre Group Ltd at the 85th NTDA Annual Dinner, which is being held at the Hilton Deansgate, Manchester, UK on 8 October.
